California Dance Theatre
Located
20 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, the California Dance Theatre of
Agoura Hills was founded in 1985 by Artistic Directors Kim Maselli and
Joyce Hurley, and Administrative Director Lori Sorensen. With five
studios spanning over 8,000 square feet, CDT's more than 30 teachers instruct
students of all ages and levels — from children to adults, beginners to professionals — in ballet, lyrical, tap, musical theatre, jazz, acro and hip-hop.
Pre-professional Program
California Dance Theatre's Pre-professonal Program is designed for the serious ballet dancer. Daily classes are offered in classical ballet technique, pointe/variations, and choreography. This year's Pre-professional faculty includes Nadar Hamed, Kim Maselli, Jean Lubin, and Elizabeth Highway.
Performing opportunities are available through auditions with Pacific Festival Ballet, the resident ballet company of The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Bank of America Performing Arts Center.
